I think it’s a great idea to put the Islanders in Brooklyn. I mean, Long Island obviously won’t build a new arena and in order to keep the team in NY, this is the only option outside of wasting another $400 million on another arena in Queens.

If they don’t move to Brooklyn, this team is as good as gone by 2015 when their lease runs out with the Nassau Coliseum.
